Words are unreal, but then the things they speak about and symbolise, are they there for ever? All words write about, as they are set on page and screen, are sets and suites of, composed and impermanent, items and forces.

Perhaps words can be an aid, to return to child like direct seeing. Unrestrained looking. 

The child with the sand and bucket, observing minds, alongside each other and the world, from a point of deep down trueness.

There is no doubt that work at focussing my attention, pays off.

I experience the turbulent activity of mind.

Can I master the wildness and all that empty space in there?

Develop insight into natures of beings, understand the origins of thoughts and sensations, develop detachment. Wisdom. Can I do this?

"Deltans" will become a new category for the human species.

Soon these first large numbers on a real scale, will be joined by the little island people, running alongside.

To where?The Bangladeshis have no long term plan. Not as a nation. Not once the rises reach a full metre. And a centimetre up per year, at least.

The global environment, her agent a newly-roused climate, is now set to restore it's power as a selector of best adapted humans.

The new just-dawned era of Anthropocene is soon to be over. The decline is well smashed forwards. Crime, conflict and climate securitisation are all well advanced.

Look at it hard – the balance is now out.

Arctic scientists gathered last autumn to declare that the sea ice has now tipped.

Wasdell and the Apollo Gaia project, have shown how now positive  feedbacks begin to tip over to overwhelm the negative feedbacks that would balance the earth’s energy and keep irradiative forcing down and Gaia cool.

Instead our useless collective carbon control to date still throws the Earth on the quickest trajectory towards runaway change.

We are well on the cusps of thresholds.

And no one yet accounts fully for the implications of the aerosols, these still unknown the true scale of global dimming. And we certainly know that the full value climate sensitivity is NOT 3 degrees - it will instead swing up and above towards 4 degrees this century.

Decades of chaos are coming.

The nature of global dimming, and the terrible uncertainties in connecting up real carbon reductions with the final outcomes - tackling global ocean acidification.

We need carbon stores on land replenished, plant much more onto  supportive surfaces.

Carbon maintained high on land, stocks kept low at ocean depth and high strata of the atmosphere. These stocks once controlled, will control the eradicative radiative forcings.

If Bush we're accused and imprisoned for all aeons like Sauron humbled, the world could believe again.

But not Obama any more my friends. Doubts germinate under cover.

He said nothing to the Indonesians about ongoing rape of tropical peats.

Please gods of all religions, let him not be another of The Base's tools - late, too slow, just a too compromised kinda guy. Perhaps we could never expect a turn to venal though, so count our blessings - for now.

Not yet the Saruman the White nor Gandalf either though. Does he not have a dagger to cut the Gordian knot of these wicked problems?

An idea I have is that effectively climate change should long ago have stopped being dealt with AS AN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE.

This is unproductive now for the proper scale of adaptation to become better understood. And knowing that adaptation will certainly absolutely not be of much aid, except for individual and local palliatives.
